Bolton Wanderers (The Trotters) Football Club Review

Bolton Wanderers Football Club is also well-known as Bolton or the Trotters. It is an English professional football club that plays in the Premier League. The Trotters located on Horwich, in the Borough of Bolton, North West England.

The present home ground is Reebok Stadium or the Reebok based in the Middlebrook retail park in Horwich, near Bolton. This modern stadium was built in 1997 and replaced the previous pitch, Burnden Park. The Reebok has a capacity of 28,723 and perfect facilities but in spite of this isn't very popular with many of the club's fans. The main reason is its out-of-town location.

The chairman of Bolton Wanderers is Phil Gartside. He is an Irish businessman and Chairman of Chambers of Commerce North West. He is also a perfect football administrator and currently is a Football Association Board Member. The manager of the club is Gary John Megson. He is an ex-footballer who played for ten different clubs: Plymouth Argyle, Everton, Sheffield Wednesday, Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United, Sheffield Wednesday, Manchester City, Norwich City, Lincoln City, Shrewsbury Town. Bolton Wanderers was among the founder members of the Football League. They also famous for winning the FA Cup three times during the 1920s. Bolton Wanderers football club was formed in 1874 by Thomas Ogden who was a schoolmaster at Christ Church. The first club's name was Christ Church FC but in 1877 it was changed to Bolton Wanderers. The home colors of the team are white shirts with navy trim and white shorts. The away kit are black with turquoise trim. Also the team has the badge. It consists of the initials of the club in the shape of a ball, with red and blue ribbons beneath. For the 2007-2008 season the Trotters became the first club in the Premier League to announce a price reduction (10 % ) of their tickets.
